Job summary

Fluke Health Solutions in Everett, WA seeks an experienced DFX & Engineering Manager to stand up a new DFX pillar, set the design-for-excellence agenda, and drive cross-disciplinary collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, software, and metrology. You will shape how functions work together to improve KPIs and product quality on a global scale.

The role leads a ~12-person onsite team and reports to senior operations leadership, with an opportunity to influence Fortive’s broader

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or related).
• 8+ years of engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• DFX / design-for-manufacturability leadership and ownership of operational KPIs.
• Working fluency in a business system (Fortive Business System or Lean/Six Sigma).
• Experience in medical device or ISO/FDA regulated manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the DFX & Engineering pillar across the biomedical portfolio.
• Own the design-for-excellence agenda across NPI and end-of-life.
• Own the engineering KPI bowler (first-pass yield, DPPM, OTD) and drive countermeasures.
• Lead the Fortive Business System in the function (PSP, 3P, VRK, Standard Work, Daily Management) and build a hiring plan.
• Partner across Quality, Materials, Production, Service, R&D, and HR to align capacity to the plan.
