Job summary

You will guide a cross-functional team onsite in Everett, leveraging Fortive’s systems and global engineering community to deliver measurable impact and a clear path toward senior operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or related)
• 8+ years of engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated DFX / design-for-manufacturability leadership and ownership of operational KPIs (yield, DPPM, OTD)
• Working fluency in a business system (Fortive Business System or equivalent Lean / Six Sigma)
• Experience in medical device or ISO 9001 / 13485 / 17025 or FDA-regulated manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Lead the DFX & Engineering pillar across the FHS biomedical portfolio.
• Own the design-for-excellence agenda — manufacturability, testability, yield, and cost.
• Own engineering KPI bowler — first-pass yield, DPPM, and on-time delivery.
• Lead the Fortive Business System in the function and build a hiring and talent-development plan.
• Partner with Quality, Materials, Production, Service, R&D, and HR to align engineering capacity to the plan.
