Job summary

GuidePoint Security is seeking a DevSecOps Presales Solutions Engineer to collaborate with Account Executives and senior AppSec & AI leadership. The role centers on Application Security (AppSec) and AI security, with opportunities to grow into Vulnerability Management and Cloud Security.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of presales experience and a strong customer-facing technical background. You will qualify and position solutions, build credibility with technical and executive stakeholders,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of presales or equivalent client-facing role.
• Foundational knowledge of AppSec and AI security concepts.
• Interest in AI/ML security and governance considerations.
• Ability to learn new cyber technologies quickly and articulate value propositions.
• Excellent communication to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive new and continued business within the territory focusing on AppSec and AI opportunities.
• Perform technical qualification, discovery, and positioning for presales opportunities.
• Articulate AppSec and AI risks, controls, and architectural tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Align customer AI ambitions with foundational AppSec realities.
• Support development of Statements of Work, proposals, and technical collateral.
