Job summary

GuidePoint Security is seeking a technically sharp, customer-focused Security Architect (Presales) to join our Network & Data Security practice in the Northeast. You will be the primary technical resource supporting the sales cycle, partnering with Account Executives to design solutions and demonstrate value to clients.

This role requires Northeast travel (30–50%) and a strong home-office setup, with on-site engagements as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in network and data security engineering, architecture, or related technical role.
• Strong knowledge of NGFW, SD-WAN/SASE, ZTNA, IDS/IPS, VPN, network segmentation, DLP, data classification/governance, CASB/DSPM.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or Information Security or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical resource in the sales cycle for network and data security opportunities with Account Executives.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand current network architecture, security posture and drivers.
• Design and present tailored network and data security solutions with diagrams and proposals.
• Deliver product demos, POCs, and technical workshops onsite or virtually.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with accurate technical content and solution positioning.
