Altron, Inc. is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our Navy Programs team in Middletown, RI. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, secure deployment infrastructure, and automate repeatable environments for mission-critical software systems supporting U.S. Navy platforms.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and a base salary of $125,000 – $134,000 with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits. Work is on-site in Middletown, RI, with ample opportunity for growth.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years of professional DevOps/SRE/infrastructure engineering experience.

Mansioni

• Designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for Navy submarine systems.
• Building container images and deployment strategies with Docker/Podman in a Kubernetes runtime.
• Developing Bash and Python automation; implementing IaC across development and lab environments.
• Enforcing security best practices: image scanning, secrets management, access controls.
• Monitoring health, performance, and incidents; performing root cause analyses.
