Smarty, LLC. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our on-site team in Orem, Utah. You will help maintain CI/CD pipelines, production infrastructure, and security while growing your skills in a fast-moving SaaS environment.

You'll work closely with developers and operations to streamline deployment, automate tasks, and adopt new tools as our system scales. A monthly impact on reliability and performance awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or similar field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, SysAdmin, or infra-related work.
• Comfortable working in Linux environment.
• Familiar with Git and version control practices.
• Some exposure to CI/CD tools and containerization.
• Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or similar.
• Experience with Cloud Orchestration (Nomad, Kubernetes).
• Experience with metrics and reporting (Prometheus, Grafana).

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and reliability of CI/CD pipelines and production infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and respond to alerts.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues with senior engineers.
• Build automation scripts to reduce manual work and speed deployments.
• Collaborate with development and operations to streamline software delivery.
• Help maintain security best practices across infrastructure.
• Support configuration management and version control workflows.
• Learn new tools and technologies as infrastructure evolves.
• Leverage AI as a tool for troubleshooting, scripting, and daily tasks.
