Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
• 3+ years recruiting, managing, and mentoring technical teams.
• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience prioritizing product, engineering, support, and ad-hoc requests.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Linux, Docker, and IaC.
• Experience with Go, NodeJS, Linux Shell, or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD in microservices architecture.
• Experience with Git, Terraform, and Github Actions.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, Lean).

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and implement technical requirements with engineers and other managers.
• Report on development, quality, operations, and system performance to leadership.
• Drive monitoring, process, security, and service improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and maintain apps and services on schedule and within budget.
• Lead, hire, retain, mentor, and develop talent on the team.
• Assess, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Manage operational excellence and KPIs.
• Build technology roadmaps to meet business needs.
• Create, maintain, and prioritize engineering tasks.
• This role requires some on-call support outside business hours.
