Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and maintain the infrastructure powering its public safety platform. You will focus on reliability, automation, and observability across AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, and GitOps workflows.

You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Security, and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available systems. The role includes developing CI/CD pipelines, improving monitoring and logging, and driving platform reliability with on-call

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines for application builds, testing, and deployments.
• Experience implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions.
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and deployment automation tools such as ArgoCD.
• Experience with scripting or programming to automate infrastructure operations, improve developer workflows, and build internal tooling.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and compliance best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and proactively identify opportunities to improve system performance and reliability.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive infrastructure projects that contribute to the long-term scalability, stability, and health of the Mark43 platform.
• Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline builds, testing, and deployments.
• Improve platform observability by implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Build internal tools and automation to improve developer productivity and deployment efficiency.
• Partner with engineering teams to establish DevOps best practices and strengthen platform reliability.
