Job summary

Enlighten seeks a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team in a hybrid role. You will apply Kubernetes and container orchestration with automation across AWS and edge infrastructures, ensuring reliable, scalable deployments.

The ideal candidate has strong scripting (Python/Bash/Go), Terraform/Ansible experience, and a DoD 8140/8570 compliance mindset. Expect collaborative work with cross-functional teams and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Active Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance required or must obtain within 60 days.
• 5+ years in DevOps or software development with degree; or 3 years with Master's; or 9 years with HS diploma.
• Strong Kubernetes and AWS (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provision cloud infra on AWS (EKS) and on-prem/edge deployments.
• Automate deployment pipelines and ensure service reliability and scalability.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with dev teams to integrate apps into infra.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production systems.
• Stay current with new tech and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
