Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience with backend services, APIs, distributed systems, where reliability matters.
• Take ownership of scoped problems from investigation through implementation.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails (Rails).
• Use observability tools to understand system health; Datadog is valuable.
• Care about testing, maintainability, and clarity in code and docs.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and outcomes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve the services powering Device Trust.
• Improve reliability, observability, and operability of production systems.
• Work across application code, dependencies, cloud infra, networking, and deployment tooling.
• Help establish safer ways to change critical systems and validate them.
• Participate in incident response and post-incident learning for lasting improvements.
• Collaborate with Device Trust, Platform, Security, and other teams to reduce operational friction.
