1Password is hiring an Intermediate Frontend Developer for the Device Security team. You will build and maintain administrative interfaces, such as device compliance dashboards and policy configuration tools, collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Design.

This role emphasizes security-focused frontend work in a remote-friendly environment across the US and Canada. Required: 2+ years in software development with React and TypeScript, strong component design, and ability to scale products

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience including building web experiences with React and TypeScript.
• Develop clear, maintainable frontend components and interfaces for complex product requirements.
• Worked on products serving large user bases and understand frontend impact on scalability, performance, and optimization.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate with engineers, Product, Design, and cross-functional partners.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools and understanding their capabilities and limitations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain administrative interfaces for enterprise customers, including device compliance dashboards and policy configuration tools.
• Develop intuitive experiences that help administrators understand device security posture, identify risks, and take action.
• Contribute to the Device Security initiative, with opportunities to influence product direction and technical solutions.
• Initially contribute to client-side work in related product areas before transitioning more fully to Device Security.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional partners through planning, technical discussions, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
