Job summary

Firstbase is seeking an IT operations lead to manage device staging, MDM enrollment, and end-to-end lifecycle activities. You will back up the Warranty & Repair team, oversee OEM vendor relationships, and guide ITAD routing to optimize returns on retiring devices.

You will coordinate across three departments, ensure accurate labor planning, and work with internal and external teams to align value-added services with deployment needs.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in IT operations, device lifecycle management or ITAD.
• CompTIA A+ certification is required.
• Hands-on experience with Intune or Jamf Pro; familiarity with Apple Business Manager and Autopilot/Entra ID.
• Knowledge of PXE boot and ISO-based imaging workflows.
• Familiarity with OEM warranty billing structures and ITAD channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end device staging and MDM enrollment, including PXE boot and ISO deployments.
• Serve as escalation point and backup for Warranty & Repair; manage open-repair queue and vendor relationships.
• Drive ITAD throughput by routing decommissioned devices to resale or wholesale channels.
• Manage battery replacement queues, stock levels and PPE to maximize device yield.
• Analyze labor requirements across departments to meet throughput targets.
• Consult with internal teams and external clients to align VAS capabilities with deployment and lifecycle needs.
