Job summary

Carolina Handling seeks a Device Management Technician to own the lifecycle of end-user devices, provisioning, securing, and maintaining through endpoint management platforms.

You will handle procurement, imaging, deployment, and retirement while administering MDM and endpoint tools to keep devices compliant and patched. Interact with associates, suppliers, and contractors to stay audit-ready and support the Infrastructure Team on escalations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in information technology or computer science or a comparable degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with IT hardware, networking, printers, desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
• Familiarity with Helpdesk environments and ticket tracking.
• Proficiency with M365, Windows Server, RDS, AD, Intune, Entra, Teams, and Azure administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end device lifecycle: procurement coordination, imaging, deployment, and retirement.
• Maintain accurate hardware inventory with check-in/check-out and asset tagging.
• Coordinate with vendors on orders, warranty claims, repairs, and replacements.
• Provide Level 1-2 IT support and resolve end-user issues; maintain knowledge base.
