Monarch Healthcare in North Carolina is seeking a Developmental Specialist to support individuals in achieving personal dreams and goals. You will assess interests, help build community connections, and enable participation in daily life with supportive, person-centered care.

This role requires a High School Diploma, a valid driver’s license, and experience with individuals who have mental health or developmental needs. Sleepover shifts may be required.

Responsabilités

• Assess each person receiving services for hopes, dreams, and desires and provide supports that facilitate achievement.
• Support people in developing relationships in their community and with natural supports.
• Assist people in participating fully in their community consistent with interests.
• Ensure the rights of each person are protected and promote advocacy and personal autonomy.
• Provide support to meet emotional, physical, and medical needs of each person.
• Foster positive relationships and self-determination.
• Provide input into assessment and planning processes and develop plans.
• Document progress, actions, incidents, timesheets, etc.
• Assist with day-to-day home operations (housekeeping, meals, laundry, shopping, etc.).
• Provide transportation as required and safety procedures guidance.
• Mentor and train new/current staff.
• Sleepover at residential settings may be required.
