Job summary

RTR in Stoughton, MA seeks a dedicated residential support worker to help individuals with developmental disabilities. You will work with the Residential Manager to implement plans, document progress, and ensure safety and compassionate care in a residential setting.

Responsibilities include daily living support, transportation, medical appointment coordination, and participation in community activities. A High School Diploma and valid driver’s license are required, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet.
• Successful completion of mandated trainings including medication administration.
• Willingness to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, supervise and evaluate individuals per support plan and record data.
• Implement behavior plan interventions as assigned; may include physical restraint.
• Maintain valid Driver’s License and provide transportation as required.
• Assist individuals with medical appointments and document accordingly.
• Assist with scheduling social and leisure activities and community involvement.
• Maintain residence and yard in clean, orderly condition.
• Provide personal care support (diet, grooming, hygiene).
• Assist with transfers and mobility as needed.
• Write daily shift reports and other required documentation.
• Administer medications per procedure.
• Adhere to RTR policies and safety standards.
