Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a part-time Development Coordinator on the School Engagement VP Team. This temporary role supports the School Engagement Director with scheduling Kick Off Assemblies, data entry, and procurement tasks, including travel to local schools with mileage reimbursement.

You will assist with fundraising duties, manage spreadsheets, and coordinate online orders and print materials. This position runs through Spring 2027 and offers resources for work-life harmony.

Qualifications

• Three years of prior experience in a supporting role.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, and Zoom.
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to travel to local schools and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the local School Engagement Director with fundraising duties.
• Schedule and implement Kick Off Assemblies at schools and handle item delivery/pickup (mileage reimbursed).
• Data entry, spreadsheet management and expense report support.
• Process online material orders for schools and staff; coordinate with print vendors.
