Job summary

The American Heart Association in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Development Coordinator on the Youth Engagement VP Team. This temporary, part-time role reports to the VP of Youth Engagement and supports school outreach, events, and data entry.

You will travel to local schools, help implement assemblies, manage orders and CRM data, and collaborate with national and regional teams. This position funds through Spring 2027 and offers work-life harmony benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years of prior experience in a supporting role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, and Zoom.
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to travel to local schools as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Youth Engagement Director with fundraising duties, including scheduling and implementing Kick Off Assemblies.
• Data entry, spreadsheet management and expense report assistance.
• Help facilitate online material orders for schools and staff.
• Coordinate with local print vendors to produce collateral materials.
• Maintain accurate volunteer and supporter information in the CRM system and Microsoft platforms.
