Job summary

Land Together is seeking a Development Operations Associate to manage grants, donor data, and compliance for our fundraising program. This full-time role supports the Development Director, maintains grant reporting calendars, donor records, and campaigns, and ensures smooth operation of our funding activities.

You will work remotely from California, collaborate with Finance and Programs, and help grow our donor engagement while upholding IRS guidelines and data integrity.

Qualifications

• At least two years in nonprofit development operations or grants administration.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce or comparable donor CRM with reports and dashboards.
• Familiarity with Monday.com or Asana and workflow boards.
• Ability to own a workload with minimal supervision and meet deadlines across teams.
• Understanding of IRS gift acknowledgement rules.
• Strong writing skills and experience drafting report narratives.
• Proficiency in Office, Google Workspace, and Slack.
• Discretion handling confidential donor and financial data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grants calendar and donor/grant boards (Monday.com) and Salesforce.
• Enter and update donor, funder, and prospect records; run audits for data quality.
• Build development reports, dashboards, and board-level giving reports.
• Keep grant files organized, audit-ready, and maintain central archive of standard documents.
• Pull engagement metrics from email, web, and social channels for planning and funder reports.
• Document workflows and system access; update SOPs and secure director approvals.
