Job summary

BPUE seeks a Development Manager to lead fundraising operations and donor engagement. You will implement the development strategy, manage donor portfolios, and support executive donor cultivation while ensuring systems are efficient and donor interactions advance investments.

The role reports to the President of BPUE and requires up to 20% travel. Remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates; Harrisburg, PA relocation preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in nonprofit development or fundraising operations.
• Experience supporting major gift fundraising.
• Strong knowledge of moves management and donor stewardship.
• Experience managing donor CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day development operations, ensuring fundraising systems, processes, and workflows operate efficiently.
• Translate annual fundraising plan into priorities, calendars, and work plans.
• Oversee gift processing, acknowledgments, and donor stewardship workflows.
• Develop cultivation plans for donors and prospects and track meetings and proposals.
• Coordinate fundraising campaigns, donor events, and major initiatives.
• Prepare donor profiles, briefing materials, and proposals for leadership.
