Job summary

BiblicalTraining.org is a donor-funded ministry that seeks a development leader to deepen donor relationships, grow recurring giving, and shape BT's annual development strategy. This hybrid role blends onsite collaboration with remote work within a distributed team.

You will build personal connections with supporters, design tiered giving programs, and manage the donor CRM to enhance engagement and stewardship, reporting progress to the President and team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of nonprofit development and fundraising experience.
• Proven ability to build donor relationships and manage annual giving programs.
• Experience with donor CRM systems and data-informed reporting.
• Strong writing for donor appeals and stewardship reports.
• Alignment with BT's evangelical mission and collaborative, autonomous work style.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Build genuine relationships with Ministry Partners and mid-level donors through calls, notes, and regular check-ins.
• Set and own BT's development strategy: annual plan, calendar, budget, and channel mix.
• Plan and run seasonal and year-end giving campaigns in collaboration with the Website Director.
• Grow recurring-giving communities with tiered levels and onboarding experiences.
• Launch a mid-tier giving community with personalized outreach and stewardship.
• Design donor pathways and lifecycle communications to increase engagement.
• Manage donor data/CRM, ensure data hygiene, and support segmentation for outreach.
• Collaborate with the President on major-donor and board relationships and reporting.
