Job summary

The Newberry Library in Chicago is seeking a Development Operations Manager to oversee the CRM system, Raiser's Edge, record patron and gift information, and use data to strengthen giving. You will support departments in database use and train staff as needed while serving as the primary data analyst and prospect researcher for the Development Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with Raiser’s Edge (NXT) and Blackbaud online tools required.
• Experience with and iWave or similar research tools preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience working with a CRM database required.
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices required.
• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail required.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure to meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy required.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with colleagues and donors required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data management policies in Raiser's Edge and maintain data governance.
• Process gifts and manage gift acknowledgments, forms, and reporting.
• Provide staff training and act as liaison with Finance and Blackbaud teams.
• Generate fundraising reports and dashboards for leadership.
