Job summary

The Newberry Library in Chicago seeks a Development Operations Manager to oversee the CRM database (Raiser’s Edge) and support gift processing, data quality, and reporting for the Development Office.

This full-time role requires 3+ years CRM experience, familiarity with Raiser’s Edge and Blackbaud tools, and the ability to train staff and produce fundraising dashboards; onsite presence is required with occasional remote work per library policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with Raiser’s Edge (NXT) and Blackbaud tools required.
• 3+ years’ experience with a CRM database.
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CRM data management and gift processing.
• Maintain data governance standards and dedupe records.
• Coordinate reporting between Development and Finance; reconcile gifts and pledges.
• Provide staff training on Blackbaud tools and act as liaison.
• Produce fundraising reports/dashboards for leadership.
