Reporting to the Director of Individual Giving, the Development Operations Manager is responsible for oversight of the Newberry’s customer relationship management (CRM) database, Raiser’s Edge, utilizing the system to effectively record patron and gift information and leveraging patron information to encourage increased giving to the Newberry. The Development Operations Manager will assist departments throughout the library with the database and its related online tools, fostering increased use of the Development department’s database system and training staff as appropriate. The Development Operations Manager will also serve as the primary data analyst and prospect researcher for the Development Office.
Full-time, exempt position, working 35 hours per week, with normal hours generally from 9:00 AM-5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Incumbent may occasionally work additional hours as needed. Evening and weekend hours may occasionally be needed in order to support departmental goals and attend Library events. Remote work may be available in accordance with Library policy; however, the position requires regular onsite presence to support the needs of the role and the department.
