Job summary

Rocky Mountain Welcome Center in Colorado seeks a Development Manager to lead fundraising growth, expanding individual philanthropy and major gifts while guiding donor stewardship, grants, and communications.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will manage development operations, track metrics, and plan donor events and partnerships that deepen community support for immigrant and refugee families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least two years of nonprofit fundraising experience with measurable revenue growth.
• Experience cultivating individual donors and securing major gifts.
• Experience developing fundraising strategies and managing development operations.
• Experience supervising staff, consultants, or vendors.
• Experience using donor databases; Salesforce experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate with the Executive Director and staff.

Responsibilities

• Grow individual giving and major gifts.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward donor relationships.
• Oversee grants, fundraising communications, development operations, and donor events.
• Maintain donor data and track fundraising metrics.
• Prepare reports for leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Develop the annual fundraising plan with the Executive Director.
• Plan and execute donor engagement events and partnerships.
