Food Bank of the Rockies in Grand Junction, CO seeks a Development Manager to grow community support by shaping the development strategy for the Western Slope Distribution Center and the 13 counties we serve. You will cultivate donors across individuals, foundations, and corporations, and support grants applications to expand fundraising impact.

This role partners with the Director of Development & Community Relations and requires strong communication, project management, and donor stewardship

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related experience preferred.
• Three years fundraising experience preferred.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge or Blackbaud TeamRaiser is highly desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor data reporting.
• Knowledge of moves management, solicitation, and event planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily management of donor gifts and steward records for accuracy and donor intent.
• Review revenue reports with leadership to maintain clean donor records.
• Lead development strategy implementation across the Western Slope.
• Represent the organization at community events and donor meetings.
• Support donor data requests and development outreach strategies.
• Perform campaign analysis by tracking KPIs and metrics.
• Contribute to Direct Mail initiatives and donor messaging.
• Collaborate with marketing to manage sponsorship benefits and partner commitments.
• Cultivate corporate donors and steward sponsor relationships.
• Lead planning and execution of fundraising events and initiatives.
