Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Development Intern to support analysts, developers, and project partners in affordable housing projects. You will assist with market analysis, financial modeling, and finance/tax credit applications, while aiding in project planning and construction administration.

Offices are in Atlanta, with a full-time, on-site schedule for Spring 2027. The role offers exposure to acquisitions, due diligence, and collaboration across a nationwide development team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Demonstrates interest in real estate development or finance; affordable housing preferred.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Effective verbal and written communication; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analyze demographics, rentals, and occupancy.
• Prepare/update financial models and cash flow projections for development projects.
• Evaluate prospective acquisitions with financial, market, and property data.
• Assemble documentation for financing, tax credit, and funding submissions.
• Maintain construction matrices, schedules, and development trackers.
• Review investment agreements and due diligence materials under supervision.
• Collaborate with team and partners on planning, due diligence and construction.
• Maintain regular attendance and support other duties as assigned.
