Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Development Intern to support analysts, developers, and project partners across the real estate development process in Atlanta. This full-time, on-site internship runs June 8, 2027 to August 20, 2027, with rolling applications beginning in late September 2026.

The role includes market and acquisition analysis, financial modeling, financing and tax credit applications, and construction administration, with opportunities to contribute to project planning and due diligence.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Interest in real estate development or affordable housing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis of demographic trends, rental rates, occupancy, and other factors affecting development opportunities.
• Prepare and update financial models, cash flow projections, and analyses of development feasibility.
• Assist in evaluating prospective acquisitions and organizing financial, operational, market, and property information.
• Compile documentation for financing and tax credit applications and funding submissions.
• Maintain construction matrices, project schedules, trackers, and milestones.
• Review investment agreements and due diligence materials under supervision.
• Collaborate with the Development team and partners on planning, due diligence, and development activities.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
