Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Development Intern to support analysts, associates, developers and project partners through the real estate development process in our on-site internship this summer.

You will assist with market and acquisition analysis, financial modeling, financing and tax credit applications, project planning and construction administration, gaining hands-on experience in affordable housing development.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• Interest in real estate development or finance; affordable housing is preferred.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Effective communication, both verbal and written, with team members and partners.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Supports analysts, associates, developers, and project partners throughout the development process.
• Assists with market and acquisition analysis and financial modeling.
• Supports financing and tax credit applications, project planning, and construction administration.
• Prepares documentation for financing submissions and project requirements.
• Maintains project schedules, matrices, trackers, and other development tools.
• Helps review investment agreements and due diligence materials under supervision.
• Collaborates with team members and external partners on development activities.
• Maintains regular attendance and performs other duties as assigned.
