Job summary

VisionCorps is seeking a Director of Development to lead fundraising initiatives, donor engagement, grants, Sponsorships, and annual giving. The role partners with the President/CEO, board, and volunteers to grow support for VisionCorps programs and services.

The position oversees development staff, collaborates with finance and marketing, and drives revenue growth through events and campaigns across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Five+ years in development, fundraising, or donor relations.
• Experience with annual giving, sponsorships, grants, campaigns, and events.
• Strong writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage development staff and budgeting with CFO coordination.
• Oversee annual giving, donor renewal, upgrades, sponsorships, grants, and campaigns.
• Cultivate relationships with donors, foundations, and community partners.
• Coordinate with marketing for donor communications and stewardship materials.
• Direct signature fundraising events and donor engagement activities.
• Prepare reports and updates for leadership and board.
• Support staff and volunteers with donor outreach and events.
