Job summary

Hero's Bridge is seeking a Director of Development to guide all revenue-generating activities, including annual giving, major gifts, grants, partnerships, events and capital campaigns. You will partner with the CEO and COO to drive revenue growth, donor engagement and long-term sustainability.

The role reports to the CEO, offers hybrid work with a 40-hour week, and commands a salary of $65,000–$85,000 per year, with benefits such as health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years progressive fundraising experience.
• Demonstrated major gift experience.
• Experience in small to mid-sized nonprofit growth environments.
• Strong strategic planning and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Establish annual revenue targets across all funding streams.
• Create revenue forecasting models and fundraising dashboards.
• Diversify funding sources to strengthen long-term sustainability.
• Oversee all annual fund campaigns (mail, digital, events).
• Lead preparation and coordination of capital campaign efforts.
• Prepare fundraising reports for board meetings.
• Serve as strategic advisor to CEO on revenue growth.
