The Samaritan Inn in McKinney, TX seeks a visionary Vice President of Development to lead fundraising strategy, donor cultivation, and grant programs across foundations, circles, and corporate partners. You will mentor a high-performing grants team and drive growth aligned with our mission.

With 10+ years in nonprofit development and a proven track record, you will steward major donors, manage a growing pipeline, and collaborate with programs and finance to meet strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years in nonprofit development with 3+ years in leadership (DFW area).
• Proven track record in fundraising campaigns and grants.
• Experience in grant writing, grant management, donor cultivation.
• Experience mentoring and leading diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the grant team to achieve fundraising goals.
• Cultivate relationships with donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Oversee grant development and management; ensure compliance.
• Align fundraising plan with organizational strategy.
• Manage budgets and report to Chief Development Officer.
• Use CRM data to assess and adjust fundraising activities.
