Job summary

The Salvation Army Northwest Division seeks a Manager of Special Projects in Seattle, WA, for the Development department. This full-time, hybrid role oversees government relations, volunteer programs, advisory organization relations, and fundraising campaigns to grow financial and human capacity for the mission.

Qualifications

• Three years of project management experience with data tracking and reporting.
• Familiarity with fundraising, relationship-building and community relations.
• Experience with government and volunteer relations, advisory board activities, and social services is desirable.
• Bachelor's degree or comparable experience plus strong office communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage government relations activities at local, state, and federal levels in the Northwest Division.
• Oversee volunteer program policies, recruitment, and donor engagement.
• Coordinate advisory organization relations and provide training opportunities to the field.
• Support fundraising campaigns and prepare materials with Marketing and Communications teams.
• Maintain records, ensure confidentiality, and track program outcomes.
