Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Grant Billing Manager to oversee grant billing, budgeting, compliance, and reporting for the Northwest Division. This exempt, regular full-time role focuses on ensuring funder requirements are met and accurate financial activity is reported.

Based in Seattle with a hybrid work model, the position collaborates with the Finance team, corps offices, and external funders. Bachelor’s in accounting/finance is required; grants experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Preferred: experience with grants, funder requirements, compliance and audits.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve grant billings prior to submission to funders and related journal entries.
• Monitor grant spend-down and provide monthly reporting to Divisional Finance Director.
• Prepare SEFA information and support Single Audit activities.
• Assist with monthly close, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Coordinate with Corps, Accountants, and other departments to meet grant requirements and deadlines.
