Job summary

The University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, TX seeks a Development Associate to support the Jonsson School development team and leadership annual giving efforts. You will help manage calendars, coordinate donor visits, and assist with events while documenting prospect activity in the alumni and donor system.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree with 1+ year of admin experience, and brings strong speaking, writing, and time-management skills to a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; one year administration experience; or any equivalent combination of relevant education, training & experience.
  • Preferred experience in development, preferably in higher education. Outstanding speaking, writing, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Assistant Dean and team in development and alumni relations activities.
  • Manage the Assistant Dean’s calendar and schedule donor visits and events.
  • Document prospect activity in the donor management system and track stewardship.
  • Help manage team expenses, reimbursements, cost centers and budgets.
  • Assist with identifying and cultivating major gift donor pipelines.
