Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Development Associate to provide comprehensive administrative, operational, and donor stewardship support to the Development Team. The role coordinates gift processing, donor records, and event logistics to strengthen relationships and advance philanthropy priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant education/experience may be substituted as appropriate.
• Three years of experience in development, fundraising, event planning, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Self-motivated, proactive team player with problem solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule meetings and coordinate calendars for gift officers and executives.
• Prepare expense reimbursements and process travel-related documents.
• Maintain donor database and update records and engagement data.
• Coordinate meetings, events, and donor stewardship activities.
• Reconcile gift reports and collaborate with departments to ensure accurate processing.
• Track pledges and manage acknowledgments and donor correspondence.
