Job summary

A Precious Child, Inc. is a nonprofit serving children in need. This role focuses on every aspect of the donor experience, including data entry, donor communications, and gift processing, to strengthen fundraising efforts.

It is a full-time position in Colorado with potential for hybrid work after onboarding. Reports to the Development Database Manager and requires strong data skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to the mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Enthusiasm and passion for A Precious Child’s mission and vision.
• At least 1 year of client services or fundraising experience.
• Ability to manage competing demands and multitask.
• Exceptional customer service and ethics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse groups.
• Self-starter, outgoing, organized.
• Works well independently and in a team.
• Meets deadlines with attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and reliable donor relations.

Responsibilities

• Assists with gift entry and direct deposit reports, maintaining clean and consistent data and records.
• Field donor calls and assists when able or direct to the appropriate team member.
• Update donor information in Raiser’s Edge as needed.
• Manage weekly acknowledgement letter process, thank you calls, and memorial/honoree notifications.
• Write and send thank you cards to donors giving under $250.
• Create and send invoices and log the corresponding pledge into Raiser’s Edge.
• Assist with generating reports upon request.
• Assist with entering in-kind donations into Raiser’s Edge.
• Manage third-party donation platforms (Just Giving, Double the Donation, etc.).
• Maintains data entry requirements by following data program processes and procedures.
• Assist the team with event lists, registrations, auction items, and general event support.
• Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
