Job summary

Coinbase Base team is hiring a Builder Operations Associate to own technical community operations across Discord and Reddit. You will craft scalable processes, triage builder questions, and ensure timely, accurate responses while developing playbooks and dashboards.

Remote-friendly contractor role via Magnit or Deel, with US hourly compensation. You will work to improve support workflows, enhance community infrastructure, and push for proactive builder engagement, feedback loops, and efficient

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical community operations or related roles.
• Experience managing large Discord communities, including bots and roles.
• Experience moderating Reddit communities with queues and flair.
• Working knowledge of onchain concepts (wallets, smart contracts).
• Ability to translate technical questions clearly for varied audiences.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day technical community operations across Base's Discord and Reddit.
• Design and implement structured ticketing, escalation, and SLAs.
• Build and maintain Discord/Reddit infrastructure, bots, roles, and rules.
• Develop FAQs, playbooks, and reusable responses to reduce manual work.
• Create dashboards tracking response/resolution times and ticket volume.
• Identify opportunities for peer-support, product feedback loops, and recognition.
