This 6-month contract is US-Remote with Magnit/Deel as the employer of record; pay ranges hourly from $54.71 to $64.38 USD, with potential extension based on performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical community operations or related role.
• Hands-on experience managing large Discord communities (bots, roles, permissions).
• Experience operating Reddit communities (AutoModerator, queues, subreddit governance).
• Familiarity with onchain concepts: wallets, transactions, smart contracts, RPCs.
• Ability to understand and clearly explain technical questions to varied audiences.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day technical community operations across Base Discord and Reddit.
• Design and implement ticketing and escalation systems (categories, SLAs, ownership).
• Build/maintain Discord and Reddit infrastructure (channels, roles, bots, rules).
• Develop reusable responses, FAQs, and internal playbooks to reduce manual work.
• Create dashboards tracking response time, resolution time, ticket volume, and satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to expand builder-facing processes beyond reactive support.
