Job summary

Trigger.dev is seeking a highly visible events advocate based in San Francisco to represent the company at developer gatherings. The role focuses on delivering compelling talks, building genuine relationships, and coordinating our presence across the SF developer ecosystem.

You will drive speaking engagements, organize meetups, and collaborate on joint events with partners. Independence and strong self-motivation are essential to succeed in this fast-paced, open-source environment.

Qualifications

• Genuine stage presence and charisma evidenced by videos or talks.
• Credible technical background with comfort among engineers.
• High self-motivation with ability to work independently.
• Genuine belief in the value of Trigger.dev and representation in rooms.

Responsibilities

• Turn up to SF events: meet developers, advocate for Trigger.dev, be excellent in person.
• Secure speaking slots at events and deliver engaging talks.
• Organize Trigger.dev meetups or co-host events with big tech names.
• Optionally write blog recaps or produce YouTube clips as a byproduct.
• Work largely independently in SF with strong self-direction.
• Provide post-event reports including attendee numbers and talk footage.
