Job summary

Speechmatics is seeking a Developer Relations Advocate in San Francisco to bring our speech technology to the developer community. You will be the face of Speechmatics in the city, growing a vibrant community and creating practical content to help developers build with our technology.

You will collaborate with engineering to translate developer feedback into product improvements, run events, and provide clear tutorials, demos, and documentation to accelerate adoption across the AI developer

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, and developer tools.
Collaborative approach with engineering and product teams.
Curiosity about speech technology, AI, and ML.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Be the face of Speechmatics in San Francisco, building our profile in the AI and developer scene.
Grow a community of developers through forums, social media, events, and meet-ups.
Turn developer feedback into real product improvements.
Create tutorials, code samples, demos, blog posts, and documentation to help developers build with our tech.
Assist developers from first API call to working product and partner with engineering on challenges.
Help run webinars, hackathons, and community events that developers want to attend.
Build relationships with developers, partners, and community champions.
Use community data to shape focus areas.
