LiveKit is looking for a Staff Developer Advocate to enhance our presence among developers, focusing on events and community building. You will drive awareness in the Bay Area, organizing and hosting meetups, and engaging developers in real-time audio and video communications.

With a commitment to excellent communication and relevant experience in Developer Advocacy, you’ll create valuable experiences that inform our product and DevRel strategy. This hybrid role offers the chance to impact our growth at LiveKit.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Developer Advocacy or Technical Evangelism.
• Strong technical communication skills for explaining complex concepts.
• Experience planning and executing developer events like meetups and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Drive awareness of LiveKit with new developer audiences.
• Plan, host, and participate in events.
• Create content from events to expand engagement.
• Serve as a feedback loop for product and community strategy.
• Represent LiveKit on stage and in community forums.
