Job summary

Speechmatics in San Francisco is hiring a Developer Relations Advocate to engage the local AI and developer community. You will showcase our speech technology, support developers through the API/SDK, and help turn community feedback into real product improvements.

You will create tutorials, demos, blog posts and documentation to help developers build with our technology, and collaborate with engineering to unblock technical challenges. A hybrid work setup is offered.

Qualifications

Early-career experience in developer relations, community management, developer support or similar role.
Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, and developer tools; enjoy building and trying new tech.
Collaborative with engineering and product teams; turn community feedback into improvements.
Curiosity about speech technology, AI, and machine learning; eager to learn.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

Be the face of Speechmatics in San Francisco, building profile in the AI and developer scene.
Grow a community of developers through forums, social media, events and meet-ups.
Turn feedback into real product improvements with engineering and product teams.
Create tutorials, code samples, demos, blog posts and documentation for developers.
Move developers from first API call to working product, helping with technical challenges.
Help run webinars, hackathons and community events.
Build relationships with developers, partners and community champions.
