Speechmatics is seeking a Developer Relations Advocate in San Francisco to empower developers building conversational AI. You’ll join a team that nurtures a vibrant community by delivering hands-on content, tutorials, and demos while collecting insights to inform our US growth.

You will be the face of Speechmatics locally, fostering partnerships and hosting events. If you thrive on APIs, SDKs, and meaningful developer interactions, this role offers a hybrid work setup with strong career growth.

Qualifications

• Early-career experience in developer relations, community management, or similar roles.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, and developer tools.
• Collaborative approach to work with engineering and product teams.
• Curiosity about speech technology, AI, and machine learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for networking and building relationships with developers.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Speechmatics in San Francisco, building our profile in the AI and developer scene.
• Grow a community of developers via forums, social media, events, and meet-ups.
• Turn community feedback into real product improvements with engineering.
• Create tutorials, code samples, demos, blogs, and docs to help developers.
• Support developers from first API call to working product, removing blockers.
• Help run webinars, hackathons, and community events.
• Build relationships with developers, partners, and champions; inform program strategy.
• Use community data to show what works and guide future focus.
