Zusammenfassung

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at Nexus Family Recovery Center provides direct nursing care to clients undergoing medical detoxification for substance use disorders, monitoring withdrawal symptoms and ensuring safety and comfort. You will work with the Medical Director and clinical staff to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a detox setting.

Two part-time shifts are available: Sat & Sun 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, located in Dallas, TX.

Qualifikationen

• Current LVN license in Texas and in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience preferred, detox/behavioral health ideal.

Aufgaben

• Conduct admission nursing assessments including vital signs and withdrawal monitoring.
• Administer medications as ordered and monitor effectiveness.
• Document nursing care in the EHR and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor withdrawal symptoms and communicate changes to the provider.
