Job summary

Paycom in Reseda, CA is seeking a compassionate LVN to support detox clients on the night shift. You will work under the Nurse Manager to uphold safety, comfort, and clinical excellence during early withdrawal.

Responsibilities include comprehensive intake, monitoring withdrawal, administering medications (including MAT), collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and documenting care. This role requires CA LVN licensure and CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered LVN license in California.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
• Detox, SUD, or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of withdrawal symptoms and detox protocols.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Intake: Conduct comprehensive medical assessments for new admissions.
• Withdrawal Management: Monitor vitals and withdrawal symptoms per protocol.
• Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications including MAT.
• Collaborative Care: Work with physicians, RNs, and behavioral health professionals.
• Documentation: Maintain real-time nursing and medication records.
• Client Advocacy: Educate clients on detox and medications.
• Crisis Response: Respond calmly during medical emergencies per safety procedures.
