Job summary

Guardian Recovery Network Holdings in Dallas, TX is seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our clinical team on a part-time basis. The position offers 24 hours per week, scheduled Friday through Sunday, with compensation ranging from $32 to $34 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Current, active Texas LVN license in good standing.
• Experience in direct patient care and medication administration.
• Strongly preferred experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, residential treatment, or detox settings.
• Knowledge of nursing documentation, medication safety, and patient monitoring.
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical observation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, promoting health and safety.
• Monitor residents' health, assess changes, and escalate concerns promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Maintain accurate, confidential nursing documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and behavioral health professionals for coordinated care.
• Support residents with medical needs during treatment and respond to urgent concerns.
• Follow infection control and medication safety policies.
• Contribute to a safe, structured recovery environment.
• Assist with medical coverage planning as detox services expand.
• Volunteer for extra shifts to cover PTO or staffing gaps when available.
