Job summary

Armada Recovery is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide essential nursing care for patients undergoing withdrawal management from substance abuse. You will monitor health, administer medications, and support the treatment plan while collaborating with nurses, medical providers, and the treatment team.

You will document accurately, follow ethical guidelines, and communicate with patients and their families. The role may require weekend/evening hours and physical duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical guidelines.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Gather patient history and physical information for new clients.
• Assist with new client intakes and document accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Conduct regular patient rounds and document vitals and status.
• Provide support to patients and address crises with de-escalation techniques.
• Coordinate communication with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff.
