Job summary

MN Adult & Teen Challenge is seeking a Withdrawal Management Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care and withdrawal support in a licensed program. You will assist with admissions, monitor withdrawal using CIWA-Ar and COWS, manage medications, and support treatment plans under RN supervision.

The position requires an active LPN license in Minnesota, BLS, and 2+ years of nursing experience. This on-site role offers a full-time schedule in Minneapolis with a values-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing per Minnesota Nurse Practice Act.
• BLS cert required; First Aid & AED within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience preferred; withdrawal management experience a plus.
• Knowledge of Minnesota statutes 245A/245C/245F and nurse practice act.
• ASAM Criteria and care transitions knowledge.
• Experience with CIWA-Ar and COWS assessments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions, nursing intake, med reconciliation, and health history under RN supervision.
• Conduct withdrawal monitoring using approved tools and document changes.
• Monitor and document patient health status, withdrawal symptoms, and interventions.
• Deliver nursing services per orders, protocols, and licensure scope.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, pharmacies, hospitals, and EMS for patient care.
• Provide health education on withdrawal management and follow-up care.
