NOLA Detox is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing detoxification and substance use disorder treatment. You will work under supervision to administer medications, monitor patients, document clinically, and coordinate care within a structured, recovery-focused environment.

The role emphasizes safe withdrawal management, medical stability, regulatory compliance, and compassionate patient-centered care.

Competenze

Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Experience in addiction treatment, behavioral health, detox, or acute care preferred.
Knowledge of withdrawal management protocols and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) preferred.
Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Strong documentation and EMR proficiency.

Mansioni

Administer prescribed medications per physician orders and nursing scope.
Monitor vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, and patient status; document accurately.
Coordinate admissions, discharges, and educate patients on medications and detox expectations.
Assist in developing treatment plans and provide education groups as needed.
Maintain medication room operations and ensure compliance with policies.
