• Strong detailing and drafting skills for steel projects.
• Ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specs.
• Experience coordinating with project managers, fabricators and installers.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed fabrication and erection drawings for structural and miscellaneous metal projects.
• Review drawings to ensure compliance with specs and codes.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Prepare material lists and shop details for production.
• Capture existing conditions accurately using manual methods and 3D scanning.
• Update drawings based on feedback and field changes.
• Maintain project documentation and revision history.
• Ensure drawings conform to company standards and fabrication capabilities.
